More than 970 exhibitors and approximately 14,000 attendees will participate in this year's National Safety Council Congress & Expo this month.

The 2014 National Safety Council Congress & Expo takes place this month in the San Diego Convention Center, with more than 14,000 attendees and at least 970 exhibitors expected to participate. Many leaders of the safety industry will be on hand, including the council's president and CEO, Deborah A.P. Hersman, who served on the National Transportation Safety Board for about a decade (including as its chairman) before accepting the NSC position earlier this year.

The expo hours are:

  • Monday, Sept. 15: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 16: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 17: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The annual conference moves to Atlanta next year and will take place Sept. 26-Oct. 2. It will be in Anaheim in 2015 (Oct. 15-21) and in Indianapolis the following year (Sept. 23-29). Visit www.congress.nsc.org for more information.
